In the world various types of rodents 4,660 species of rodents occurred i.e. rats, mouse, rabbits, squirrel, capybara, beaver.

According to their ecology rodents have diverse life style and can be found at terrestrial habitat, including human house, because they make burrowing into the home and also destroy the valuable things into home, rabbits also live under ground, squirrels beaver also life into tress hole.

1: House mouse.
House mouse is brown shade color and has small tail and their weight is almost 15-20 g and their length is 15-18 cm they mostly prefers the meat for their food and also prefers other soft food their excreta is rice grain like.
2: Norway rat:
These are also brown color also have some black shade they are bulky weight and have black hair on body their body weight is 300g and body size 31-46cm they also destroy seed and other stored grain and also cut the electric wire their excreta is capsule shaped .
3: Roof rat:
Roof rat have grey color they have slender plane body, their weight is almost 200 and body length 33-43cm.they prefer to eat, fruit, vegetables and grain there excreta is tip like rice grain.
How to keep rodents away from your home?
1. To keep rodents away from our home, we should keep closed our doors, tight-fitting, also clean garages and bulkhead door leaving no gaps bigger than 1|4 inch.
2. Close all entry point as like a\c compressor line, gas or heating line, electric meter line and any roofline.
3. Also closed junction point window wells, dryer vents and plumbing penetration.
4. Don’t left food materials in front of mouse when you go to sleep because they attack on food and other product at night.
Integrated Management Of Rodents.
● Remove foodstuff from the prevalence of rats.
● Also keep livestock food into closed container not let them openly.
● Place some poisonous food material at the place where rats passed they eat them and killed.
● Take 2-.2.5g ammonia, mix them into the 100-200 ml of water and place at way of mouse it is very extremely toxic which firstly killed the rats this act as rodenticide.
◗ We should inspect the mouse habitat where they are in large number and there attack
Also install some sticky traps, some wire traps, sometime apply Norway traps, poison pellet, powdered, some bait and also applied roof traps.
◗ We can also destroy their hidden place to control them also create some alarming pheromones which keep them away from house.
